We have a small organ accompanied choir at the 9.30 Mass and a group with a more contemporary feel who lead the music at the 11.30 Mass. If you would like to be involved in either group, playing or singing – then please simply approach them after Mass one Sunday.
Any children who have made their First Holy Communion are welcome to join our Altar Serving teams. Please make initial contact with Fr Kieron or via the Parish Office.
EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion help with the distribution of Communion at Mass and bring the Blessed Sacrament to those who are sick or housebound in institutions and at home. Attendance at a short training course is required for this ministry; if you would like to be considered please speak in confidence to Fr Kieron.
If you would like to proclaim the Word of God on a regular basis at Mass, then training can be provided, after which you will be invited to join a rota. Please register your interest with the Parish Office.
TEA AND COFFEE
A popular feature of the 11.30 Mass is the hospitality offered at the back of the church afterwards. More volunteers to help are always welcome – please speak to George Vaz or contact the Parish Office.
We are developing our ministry of welcome as one of our priorities. Many more volunteers are needed for this important ministry and some basic training will be provided. We would particularly like to recruit family groups for this ministry. If you are interested please speak to Fr Kieron or contact the Parish Office.
